5 businesses you really need to start before the raining season ends 

This is an era of business. Whether small businesses or medium businesses or big businesses, all are businesses. So as usual, we are going to be talking about businesses. Businesses you can start before the raining season ends. On our list, we have 5 businesses you can start, this season. So let’s start;

1 Kerosene business: This is one of the businesses you can start with at least #10,000. You don’t need to begin to wonder whether people will buy or not. I say this because people everywhere use kerosene, more than 90% of Nigerian use kerosene on a daily basis in their stoves and lambs. Are people using kerosene in your neighborhood? Even though I am not living in that neighborhood, I can say yes without fear. More people will even use it now because dry firewood’s are hard to get because of the rains. Why not visit a nearby filling station and get 50liters of kerosene. If you can go to NNPC filling station, better for you. Begin to sell in bottles. I am promising you that you will make good profit at the end. I spoke with 9 kerosene retailers before I wrote this article, and they assured me that I will never lost in this business.

2 snail rearing: Am sure you know what I mean by snail? One shocking report revealed that Nigeria is only able to supply to china less than 10% of the quantity of snails they need. Google it, and you will see what am talking about. But the question from me to you is this, is there something you can do in this area? Maybe not for export to china, but for local consumption. Snails are very expensive in Nigeria, you know why? The reason is that, snail farmers are very very few. I doubt if you have seen a snail farmer before. Most of us are yet to see snail farmers, yes, because they are few. But let me reveal one top secret to you today; it takes almost nothing to start a snail farm. Snails feed on vegetable. Just get them vegetable, they will eat and produce in large numbers. With 1 or 2 or more old GP tanks, with a net to cover it, you are good to go. People will knock on your door almost every hour, during harvesting period.

3 second hand item: what do we call second hand items in Nigeria, especially those once that came from outside Nigeria? Have you heard of the word Tokunbo? Yes that is what we call second hand items in Nigeria. We have tokunbo cloths, tokunbo shoes and tokunbo everything. The reason we patronize these items is that they are by far cheaper than new items, and sometimes if not most times, last longer than some new items. If you can get these items from Lagos, Onisha and Aba, and bring them to oil cities like port Harcourt, warri, calabar and other very busy cities, am assuring you, that you will make good sells and good profit. Let me share this experience with you. Somebody in my office went to mile1 market in port Harcourt and bought 5 good jeans. Each of the jeans cost #1000, #5000 in all. But you know what? He ended up selling each of them at #2000 in another part of port Harcourt. That is what I am talking about. Try this on women gowns, children shoes, baby wears and maybe adult shoes, if you have money to include that. “You will never regret it”. Those were the words of those in this line of business that I spoke to.

4 car wash business: This is another very profitable business you can start this month. Making money from washing vehicles for people. What do you need, to start this business? You need to know how to wash a vehicle like a professional. You have that secret in your hand already. Pick up your phone, go to YouTube. Type in this phrase “How to wash a car like a professional”, or, coin it any how you want to coin it, you will get all you need to know about how to wash a car. Another thing you need is space. If you cannot secure a space, then start with HOME SERVICE. That is not common here in Nigeria, why not start it in your area. Start by going to neighbors houses and doing it for free, just to show them how good you are in the profession. And if you are one of those who attend big churches, churches with financially stable men and women, start talking to them too. The more persons you talk to, the better. In every 10 persons you talk to, at least 3 persons will give you the job. This is raining season are in, car washers are always needed at this time. Take action before this month runs out.

5 Dry cleaning and laundry business: In Nigeria we have many big cities. I want to believe that you live in one these cities, if yes is your answer, then this business is for you. If there are big men and women in your church, this business is for you. If you live in an estate, this business is for you. Am sure you are waiting to hear how to start? Okay, listen.

 Start by talking to those big men and women in your church, in your estate and neighborhood. Tell them to try you with one of their dirty clothes. Wash and iron this one clothe for free. Show them how very good you are with this one clothe. The more persons you talk to, the better. A young man used this method, and at the end, got over 1,300 customers in one very large estate. You are surprise? Don’t be. When you search, you will find. Customers are everywhere, they are even looking for you, it is when you search for them, that you will find them.
