BEFORE WE START A BUSINESS WE USUALLY THINK SUCCESS.

You see, success in business is possible for everybody. The fact is that, success in business is something you can attract by the kind of person you become. You must become a certain kind of person to succeed in business. Let us be practical.

What do Engineers usually think about? They usually think about their work, sometimes even when they are not on duty. Yes, that is the kind of person they are, and that is the kind of persons their job has shaped them into. For them to succeed in that field, they must remain as that kind of person.

What do students usually think about? Their studies. Even when they are on holiday, you hear some of them still talking about books. Yes, that is the kind of person they need to become, to succeed in school.

What are you presently doing? I mean your job? Does your job make you think? Even when you are not there? If yes, that is the kind of person you need to become to become successful in that field of yours. And let me remind you that, both you, the engineers and even the students, where not born with this attitude. You started learning this attitude one day in the past, and today, you are a different person from the person you use to be. And because all of you became a different person, you are all succeeding in your fields.

 Same thing applies in business. If you are not a business person today, and you really want to become a business man or a business woman, you need to learn and study business. That is one. Secondly, you must allow what you have studied, to shape your thinking. These you must do, before you start a small business, medium business or big business.

 One part I will like to talk about today is the fact that you can learn from other successful business people. You can learn from business men and women in you immediate environment and the once outside your environment. You can live in japan and learn from a business man in United State of America. Do you think that is possible? Of course it is. Many successful business men and women today, learnt through that way. I know your problem sometimes might be that you have nobody in your immediate environment to learn from. But my question is, will you just relax? Or will you look for an alternative?
