The name Ayodeji Mebope has become a name almost everybody
in Lagos knows. Who was she? She was a wife and a primary school secretary,
Corona primary school, where she worked for 9 years. But is that why she has become a household
name? No.
After working for corona for 9 years, she resigned. Why? She
said “ I want to form a dance or play group”. So, to actualize that dream, she
registered to be trained in one outfit, and the training was to last for 6
months. No doubt, Ayodeji took her training seriously. But something happened
at end of the 6 months training. She said “ I was no longer interested in
forming the play or dance group”. Why was that? She couldn’t point at anything.
